1 - Cheetah

2 - Free-tailed bat

Maximum speed : 96.6 km/h

They are generally quite robust, and consist of many strong flying forms with relatively long and narrow wings. They range from 4 to 12 cm in length, excluding the tail, and can weigh from 8 to 220 g. They can reach a speed of 96.5 km/h.

3 - Pronghorn

Pronghorn can run exceptionally fast, being built for maximum predator evasion through running. The top speed is very hard to measure accurately and varies between individuals; it can run 56 km/h for 6 km, 67 km/h for 1.6 km and 88.5 km/h for 0.8 km. It is often cited as the second-fastest land animal, second only to the cheetah.

The greyhound can reach a full speed of 70 kilometres per hour within 30 metres or six strides from the boxes.

The jackrabbit's strong hind legs allow it to leap 3 m in one bound; some can even reach 6 m. Jackrabbits use a combination of leaps and zig-zags to outrun predators.

African wild dog is a canid found only in Africa, especially in savannas and lightly wooded areas. When hunting, African wild dogs can sprint at 66 km/h in bursts, and they can maintain speeds of 56–60 km/h for up to 4.8 km.

10 - Kangaroo

Maximum speed : 71 km/h

Kangaroos have large, powerful hind legs, large feet adapted for leaping. The comfortable hopping speed for a kangaroo is about 21–26 km/h, but speeds of up to 71 km/h can be attained over short distances, while it can sustain a speed of 40 km/h for nearly 2 km (1.2 mi). The faster a kangaroo hops, the less energy it consumes.
